I am anthropologist who writes and consults on diversity and inclusion.
While most may recognize anthropologists as experts on matters of culture, we are also trained to examine norms that on the surface seem natural as situated, cultural, and always in the process of changing. This anthropological standpoint plays an important role for improving our understandings of race, gender, and contemporary business. It also allows us to apply a strategic mindset to the creation of better organizations and societies.
My approach to my writing and consulting on diversity is attentive to local contexts, is informed by histories, and aims to create a strategy for enacting a collective vision for the future.
